Beta-phase winner visits the Oktoberfest
Our player VadimV sprinted up the high-score list in June and July, collecting the amazing amount of over 12,000 pieces of GPS Mission gold. This won him an all expenses paid trip to the Oktoberfest (including beer) together with his wife!
Vadim’s feat is even more impressive if you consider that our map provider doesn’t have maps for the Minsk (Belarus) area where Vadim comes from. Vadim had to play without even having a map available. Only in the last few days another player managed to take the top-scorer position away from Vadim (Ryoushi). Two months after the competition ended!

Vadim also created 28 missions himself! Most of them I don’t understand though, because they are in Russian. Anyway: great job!

His own comment: "It was an unexpected, pleasant and wonderful trip to Muenchen.
I have to thank Georg and Orbster for the excellent organization: the hotel was just a couple of minutes from Hauptbahnhof, city center and the Oktoberfest tents!
I actually never took neither subway nor trams during our walks with my wife.
The Wiesn was also very impressive. We've fortunately managed to visit 5 or 6 tents at the last day of Oktoberfest.
Everything was amazing: size of tents, their different styles to each other, the amount of people, and of course - BEER :-)
We've never being in Germany before, and we liked that almost everyone speaks English.
This - our first time trip to Muenchen - was wunderschoen. And we want more/again... :-)"
Thanks for playing, Vadim!!! Greetings to Belarus!

Somehow we are not the only ones at the Oktoberfest.
