Player interaction using pictures
There is a nice little feature in GPS Mission called a “photo spot” – these are geo tagged requests to other players indicating them that you would like to receive a picture of that place.
You can use these spots to mark places in the missions you design. A player stepping on a photo spot is asked to upload a photo. Your request to the other player may contain some more concrete advice “take a photo of yourself in front of the old tree”, or some such.
As soon as players start playing your missions, you will receive different versions of the same picture made by different people at the same spot.
Currently we are adding a feature that allows you to rate pictures people made at your photo spot. The best photo spots and pictures will earn gold awards.
